KIDS ZONE

Client: JCPenney

Project: Kids Zone Program

In 2017, JCPenney came to us with a new program idea that they were calling “Kids Zone”. They wanted to create a monthly event for kids to engage in a free activity. I worked closely with JCPenney to create activity kits that could be completed in about 30 minutes. JCPenney’s audience have diverse income brackets, so to be sensitive to that, we made sure the kits included everything needed to complete the project. We did not want to burden the parents or assume their children would have extra supplies at home, such as tape or markers. All are welcome and the project aims to attract children ages 5-10. The program drove store sales and is still largely successful today. It has been featured in several mommy blogs and is a beloved resource in the community.
