Monthly In-Store Activity Program
Details:
JCPenney wanted to create Kids Zone, a free monthly in-store activity program designed for children ages 5 to 10. I worked closely with the client to develop activity kits that could be completed in about 30 minutes and included everything needed to participate. Because JCPenney serves families across a wide range of income levels, it was important that each kit felt accessible, welcoming, and easy to complete without requiring extra supplies from home.
The program helped drive store traffic and sales, remained successful for years, and became a beloved community offering featured in parenting blogs and local coverage.
Role:
Sole Designer, helping build and support the program over multiple years through activity kit concepts, design systems, and production-ready artwork.
