Custom Athlete Travel Bags

Details:
Nike Golf needed a custom garment bag for athletes traveling to The Majors. For the first year, I designed four versions of a minimal white suede garment bag, each with a coordinating interior pattern representing one of the four major tournaments: The Open, PGA Championship, The Masters, and the U.S. Open. The bags were designed to accommodate professional golf apparel and footwear, with thoughtful functional details like a dedicated hat compartment and a hidden pocket for a daily style guide.

The client loved the first-year concept and returned the following year to expand the idea into a larger travel set. I created four new versions of the garment bag along with a coordinating duffel, this time bringing the bold tournament patterns to the outside of the bags for a more expressive second-year evolution.

Role: 
Sole Designer, developing the product concept, visual direction, functional details, pattern applications, and production-ready artwork in collaboration with project managers, producers, the client, and an overseas factory team.
