Brooks enlisted us to help tell the color story of their new 2022 Run Visible Collection. The collection includes a fluorescent color called Nightlife Yellow that is a differentiator for Brooks apparel. I was tasked to come up with a small box display that would tell the color story of their new 2022 Run Visible Collection. Inspired by the collection and the science behind their “be seen” technology (where a runner wearing this gear can be seen by a moving car up to 600 feet away), I created a diorama that puts the viewer in the driver seat as a runner passes by. Looking through the mock driver window, the user could shine a UV light flashlight and be blasted with the full experience of “Nightlife Yellow”.

 

This piece was originally produced as an aid for the Brooks Gurus to inform the public about the Run Visible technology, but it was so successful, Brooks came back asking for more pieces produced so they could have them sitting at the register in all their national stores.
